PureVeneer Australia — Product Warranty

Thank you for choosing PureVeneer Australia. We supply premium natural wood veneer products for architectural and interior applications. The following warranty outlines the extent of coverage, limitations, and your rights as a purchaser.

  1. Warranty Coverage

PureVeneer products are supplied with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of invoice.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when the product is:

  • Used for its intended purpose
  • Installed correctly
  • Maintained in accordance with PureVeneer guidelines

During the warranty period, PureVeneer may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective product, or
  • Replace the defective product, or
  • Provide a credit or refund not exceeding the original purchase price
  1. Important Notice – Natural Product Disclaimer

Wood veneer is a natural material. Variations in:

  • Colour
  • Grain pattern
  • Texture
  • Figure
  • Shade and tone

are inherent characteristics of natural veneer and do not constitute defects.
Colour changes over time due to UV exposure, lighting conditions, or ageing are expected and are not covered under warranty.

Samples, photographs, and displays are indicative only.

  1. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:

  1. Incorrect or non-compliant installation, including failure to follow industry standards or PureVeneer installation guidelines
    b. Improper storage, handling, or acclimatisation prior to installation
    c. Misuse, abuse, negligence, impact damage, or vandalism
    d. Unauthorized modification, machining, refinishing, or repair
    e. Exposure to excessive heat, moisture, humidity, direct sunlight, or unsuitable environmental conditions
    f. Use of harsh chemicals, solvents, abrasive cleaners, or improper cleaning methods
    g. Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, chips, surface wear, or finish degradation
    h. Damage caused by fire, flood, water ingress, condensation, or other Acts of God
    i. Variations in colour, grain, or texture between sheets, batches, or future supply
    j. Products installed or processed after a visible defect was identified or should reasonably have been identified
  2. Inspection & Acceptance

All products must be inspected prior to cutting, installation, or fabrication.

By proceeding with installation or processing, the purchaser accepts the product as supplied and waives any right to claim for visible defects, colour variation, or surface characteristics.

  1. Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty claim, the purchaser must:

  1. Notify PureVeneer in writing within the warranty period
    b. Provide a valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
    c. Supply clear photographs and a detailed description of the alleged defect
    d. Allow reasonable access for inspection if requested

Failure to comply with this process may result in claim rejection.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • PureVeneer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including but not limited to labour costs, removal costs, reinstallation, project delays, loss of profit, or third-party costs.
  • Total liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the affected product only.
  1. Non-Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

  1. Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.

  1. Changes to Warranty Terms

PureVeneer reserves the right to amend or update this warranty at any time.
The version published on our website at the time of purchase will apply.

  1. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.
